Commemorating - Birth anniversary of Dr S Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President and the second President of India
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has released a commemorative postage stamp in Chennai to mark the 75th anniversary of the publication of ‘Dinamalar’, a Tamil daily newspaper.
The issuance of the stamp celebrates the 75-year history of the newspaper and its contributions to journalism and public service.
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has released the ‘Mission Rangeen Machhli 2031’, which serves as the Strategic Action Plan for Ornamental Fisheries Development.
The launch took place during the Fisheries Outreach Programme, organised by the Department of Fisheries,in Agatti, Lakshadweep. The initiative aims to establish a uniform framework for the organised growth of the ornamental fisheries sector.
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has inaugurated ‘MALHAR 2026’ in New Delhi, a youth-centric and monsoon-themed celebration of Indian classical music.
The cultural programme was organised by Antar Hriday Connect to showcase the classical music traditions of India.
It is to be noted that the celebration is centered around the ‘Malhar Raga’, a classical music tradition associated with the monsoon season (Varsha Ritu) and linked to the legendary 16th-century court musician Tansen.

The book is authored by Ghanshyam Tiwari, a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament.

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan presided over the event and launched the LoA for Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the High Seas. He also unveiled the 'Odisha Deep Sea Mission Document'.
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has released a book titled "Sanskritir Ratna Bhandar: Bhaowaiyar Itibritto" (Bhawaiya: A Cultural Treasure and Its Historical Journey) at Uprashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
The book is authored by Lok Sabha MP Jayanta Kumar Roy and Sangita Roy. It documents the cultural heritage of Bhawaiya, a traditional folk music genre from North Bengal (West Bengal), Assam, and adjoining regions, reflecting the rural lifestyle and cultural legacy of the Koch Rajbanshi community.
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has released a book titled "VIP Culture in India: Power, Privilege and the Distance from Democracy".
The book is authored by Nabam Rebia and co-authored by Sandeep Kumar, incorporating references to the civilisational and intellectual traditions of India.
