The Maharashtra government has signed MoUs with four key companies, namely NTPC Ltd (NTPC), Adani Power Ltd (APL), Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), and Lalitpur Power Generation Company Ltd (LPGCL), in Mumbai to attract investments worth ₹6.5 lakh crore for the development of nuclear energy projects.
These projects are projected to establish a total power generation capacity of 25,400 megawatts (MW).
Parminder Singh has been appointed as the CEO of Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Ltd (REIL) with immediate effect. It is to be noted that REIL is a joint venture (JV) between Reliance Intelligence Ltd and Facebook Overseas Inc of Meta.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has announced the Young Global Leaders (YGL) Class of 2026, featuring 118 individuals from 55 countries.
The list includes several prominent Indians such as Jay Shah, Isha Ambani, Sumit Gupta, Abhishek Bansal, Ameve Sharma, Suhani Jalota, Aniket Doegar, Supriya Paul, Dr. Edmond Clint Fernandes, and Natsuki Sugai. The YGL initiative was established by the WEF in 2004 to identify influential leaders under 40 years of age for a five-year leadership programme based in Geneva, Switzerland.
